HB Construction Chosen as ASA-NM's 2010-2011 General Contractor of the Year
Judged on criteria including ethics and project coordination, HB Construction has been named the 2011 General Contractor of the Year by the American Subcontractors Association of New Mexico (ASA-NM) at the association’s annual industry awards luncheon Thursday, June 2.
"The ASA-NM sets the benchmark for quality performance in our industry and to be recognized by members of their organization is an immense honor," said President and CEO of HB Construction Jason W. Harrington.
HB Construction was selected for the award by active ASA-NM members who voted based on the criteria of ethics, timeliness of job completion, field supervision, project coordination, adherence to New Mexico payment laws, handling of change orders, fairness of contracts, timeliness of paperwork processing and support of New Mexico subcontractors and vendors.
This is the first year HB Construction has won the ASA-NM General Contractor of the Year Award. The firm has also recently won numerous other awards including: New Mexico Business Weekly’s Best Places to Work Awards, Southwest Contractor’s "Best of" awards and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Excellence (NAIOP) Awards.
According to the ASA-NM’s website, ASA-NM is an organization which fosters, promotes, encourages and develops the best interests of subcontractors, specialty contractors and material suppliers in the construction industry.
